Bryce Canyon National Park

Rainbow Point(above) is one of 13 other viewpoints in Bryce
Canyon National Park including sunset Point and Yovimpa Point.


In the winter you can snowshoe or cross-country
ski across the top plateau of the park


Pronghorns: They are the fastest land mammal on the
continent and the second fastest land mammal in the world.
There are also approximately 59 other species of mammals in the park


You can take horseback rides or mule rides
through the Bryce Canyon

Area:37,277 acres =58.2453 square miles

Formed from erosion

been forming for about 10 million years

Many limestone, sandstone, and mud-stone creations fill the park

Three endangered species live in this park- Prairie Dog, California condor, and Southwestern Willow Flycatcher.

These unique formations are called "hoodoos"

Huge blocks moved to form what we call Table Cliffs and Paunsaugunt Plateaus

These Table Cliffs rise 2,000 feet above the other layers of Paunsaugunt

You can see more than 7500 stars at night in Bryce Canyon
